Does anyone know if it is possible to have footnotes number continuously accross multiple pages?

Dear Helen,
Sorry for the late answer.
The autonumbered footnotes are restricted to one page.
Still, it is possible to have footnotes number across multiple pages by creating yourself with a simple text footnote.
In the HTML tool, in which the first footnote should be, write the number "1" for the first footnote
Select the text "1" and click "Insert/edit link or footnote" in the menu
Proceed in order in the same way for the subsequent footnotes.
