Hi all, what is the CSS class name and correct place in the block editor to adjust the size of image *rows*? I have several logos of different sizes that need to placed together in a row where they all have the same height. Right now they are all different since the automatic row height seems to correspond to the tallest image.

Reference issue with BibTex curly brackets

I have three (I think import-related) issues when using the References functionality with imported BibTex files.

1. The curly brackets with BibTex entries exported with Zotero show up in the RC-generated output:

```
@article{williams_anarchiving_2018,
  title = {Anarchiving (in) {{Ben Patterson}}'s {{Variations}} for {{Double-Bass}}},
  author = {Williams, Christopher A.},
  date = {2018},
  journaltitle = {Journal for Artistic Research},
  volume = {16},
  doi = {10.22501/jar.387316}
}
```
^this entry gives the following:

Williams, Christopher A, “Anarchiving (in) {{Ben Patterson}}’s {{Variations}} for {{Double-Bass”, Journal for Artistic Research, 2018 <https://doi.org/10.22501/jar.387316>

Is there any way to get rid of this in RC, or to tweak the Zotero export settings so they are more RC friendly?

2. The entries in the long reference list with the same author and same year under "META" are not compiled with the usual Year-a, Year-b format. This makes it confusing to refer to multiple Williams (2018) in the text body. Is there a way to deal with this in either RC or Zotero?

3. {forthcoming} as a value for `year` is not accepted. Normally I would omit `year` and add {forthcoming} under `date` or `pubstatus`, but RC won't upload the entry at all without a valid `year` value.

Honouring language setting for CSS hyphenation?

Hi there,

I'm currently working on a CSS specification for the block-editor, and I notice that although the RC has a meta-data field for language, this doesn't seem to propagate to the exposition, in the sense that if I use something like

#container-weave p {
    text-align: justify;
    hyphens: auto;
    margin-bottom: 0.667em;
    font-size: 18px;
}

The browser makes no effort to use hyphenation. From what I can observe, it is missing the `lang="en"` meta data, which I can insert by hand in the HTML tool, by wrapping it in a

<div lang="en">
...
</div>

While this is a work-around, it is not really nice for authors, especially those who are not familiar with HTML. Is there a known trick to enable `lang="en"` for a whole weave or exposition? Is there a pseudo CSS I could perhaps throw in the mix to make sure that English is set as language for the whole document by default?

I'm wondering how to embed a video hosted on RC in an external website. There is a video at this link: https://www.researchcatalogue.net/view/2477200/3087714. I participated in the performance and would love to include an excerpt in an article for a journal that doesn't use RC. (How) is this possible?

I suppose it would be best to simply embed the video (ideally with a time marker) in an iframe.

Or perhaps there is a way to make videos on RC downloadable.. then I could edit the file myself and upload it to the journal's server.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I was having some issues with images in my block page and not being able to have my portrait images show correctly and automatically correct to landscape.

I e-mailed RC and got this response: Regarding the images on the block page. RC imports the original format of the image. If the format of the image is landscape, regardless of how the viewer displays it as a portrait, RC will import it as horizontal. To avoid that, change the image format to an image editor, not an image viewer.

But I don't know where or how to change the format to image editor. I tried every button I could find.

Styling footnotes and references in the graphical editor with CSS

Hi!

I'm in the process of styling most of the major html elements in the graphical editor with CSS in a collaboration for a related number of expositions. So far, it's going really well, including basic CSS reset and even :root variables.

However, when it comes to footnotes and references using (link?) classes like .x-window-mc I'm totally hitting the wall. I've tried every possible dependency ranging from "#container-weave" to "body", "iframe" and "html", but nothing has any effect whatsoever. I understand that a footnote is rendered as a virtual canvas embedded in the main page canvas, which might be the reason it's so hard to execute. Could you comment on this issue based on the following CSS section for a:link stying? Any other solutions or workarounds are most welcome.

Thanks in advance!! /T

THIS WORKS PERFECTLY:

/* General link beaviour */
#container-weave a {
    text-decoration: none;
    outline-color: transparent;
    padding: 1px;
}

#container-weave a:link, #container-weave a:visited {
    color: var(--IASC-2-hex);
}

#container-weave a:focus, #container-weave a:hover {
    color: var(--IASC-2-hex);
    text-decoration: none;
    border-bottom: 1px dotted;
}

#container-weave a:active {
    color: var(--IASC-3-hex);
}

THIS DOESN'T WORK AT ALL (despite any other selectors):

/* Footnote link beaviour */

.x-window-mc a {
    text-decoration: none;
    outline-color: transparent;
    padding: 1px;
}
.x-window-mc a:link, .x-window-mc a:visited {
    color: var(--IASC-2-hex);
}

.x-window-mc a:focus, .x-window-mc a:hover {
    color: var(--IASC-2-hex);
    text-decoration: none;
    border-bottom: 1px dotted;
}

.x-window-mc a:active {
    color: var(--IASC-6-hex);
}
